Social Bookmarking is a simple and valuable marketing method. One reason it’s a great idea is simple: bookmarking is something you do anyway! So why not do it publicly, through the top social bookmarking sites, and get link love, exposure, and direct traffic?
Here are the top 5 social bookmarking sites, in order:

But just because these are the top five, doesn’t mean these are the only ones you should use, or that Digg is necessarily best for what you are doing.
For example, Digg tends to be a technical, geeky crowd, that doesn’t respond well to marketers. Stumbleupon is a very social site, where people can “thumbs up” or “thumbs down” your content, making it a great site for your great content, but not a good site for posting every single page in your marketing world. (Getting a bunch of thumbs down sucks!)
