Social Marketing “Tip of the year”
OK, this one is genius. If you’re serious about social marketing (and if you’re not you should be!), and you’re looking for a way to add prospects to your online network marketing business, listen up.
You already know everybody is using Facebook, right? But you’re wondering how to bet a bunch of quality “friends,” right? Well, here’s a simple method that works like a charm.
1. If you haven’t already done so, join Facebook. 70 million people can’t be wrong.
2. Think of a great marketer you know. In the upper left corner of your home page is a search box. Enter their name in it and see if they come up. Chances are they’re in there, everybody who’s anybody is. If not, find a different marketer.
3. Send a friend request. Make sure and include a personal message. Something like, “I am a fan of yours and would love to be Facebook friends.” Should work. Guru’s like to have their ego stroked.
4. Whether they accept you as a friend or not, go back to their profile and view THEIR friends.
Now, if the lightbulbs aren’t going on already, let me help. Who would be friends with a really good marketer? A lot of people who are either good marketers, or WANT to be good marketers, right? Many of these people are on their marketing list and been invited to join them in Facebook. So you now have a chance to “friend” a bunch of other marketers, or potential marketers!
5. Start sending friend requests. To the right of their profile pic is an option to do this. Click on it, and include a personal note like, “I see you’re friends with “expert marketer”, (include real name!), I am too! Let’s be friends!”
Make sure and don’t do more than about 50 friend requests at a time, Facebook has a limit. I think it’s a hundred, but 50 is plenty. If you have kids, pay them to do it! Teach them to copy and paste, and they can make 50 friend requests in no time!
Remember, Facebook allows a maximum of 5,000 friends. Get as many as you can, learn how to market to them effectively and persistently like we teach you in the lighthouse marketing system, and you will CONSTANTLY have a steady stream of signups into your online network marketing business!
