Thanks for sending your link, BUT…

I am hit up on a daily basis by people wanting me to either buy their program or market it. And I have a good attitude about it- I market my stuff as well, so I would be a hypocrite to no consider other peoples offers.

BUT… I simply don’t have time in the day to look at all the offers I’m sent, so I have to set some ground rules. Here is the letter I have crafted that I will be sending to people in response to their offers. Feel free to use it for yourself if you have the same issues I do:

Subject line: Thank you for sending your link

(Name),

Thank you for sending me your link! It may be just what I’m looking for. Unfortunately, I am sent more links on a daily basis than I can possibly review, so please answer the following, and, once complete, would you be so kind as to re-send the link, along with the answers to the following questions:

1. How long have you been marketing this program?

2. Do you personally use the product or service? If not, why not?

If yes, what has been your experience so far?

3. Would your average consumer buy this product or service whether there was an opportunity attached or not?

4. Does the sales page clearly define exactly what the product or service is?

If not, why not?

5. If I decide to market it, is there pre-created marketing material such as swipe e-mails, banners, etc.?

6. If the answer to 5 is yes, what is the conversion on the marketing collateral?

7. Who owns the company? Is their name, company name, and contact info on the sales page?

Thank you!

The answers to these questions will help me greatly in weeding through the many opportunities and products I am exposed to every day.

Cheers,

Dave.
