Meeting Seth Godin
I think Seth Godin is the best mind in Social Marketing out there. And what’s funny is he would probably not be too excited by that title. 
And he’s probably right, he’s a lot more of a thought leader and general business guru than a Social Marketer. But I really like his stuff on Social Media, and the power of the “little guy” to publish online.
Before the internet, power and influence came from above. Now it comes from below. And nobody understands this better or helps the independent marketer the way he does.
I finally met him at a charity luncheon in Salt Lake City a few weeks ago. He was speaking about his book, Linchpin. He’s a great speaker.
If you’ve never heard of him before, he wrote Tribes, All Marketers Are Liars, and Purple Cow, among others. He also has a great blog if you want to get a feel for what he’s all about. In the pic, from left to right, is me, Seth Godin, and Dan Fellars, president of Inhealthcare.com. One of the most famous minds in social marketing, an amazing writer and a person full of energy and thoughts, thats how one can describe Seth Godin. It seems you really had a nice experience with him.

I have been hearing about this personality for the first time.
As I was not very much involved in Social Marketing. This blog introduced the great personality to me and I went through some of his blogs and really felt sad for not knowing this great person for a long time. Thanks a lot for introducing Seth Godin to me……
