If you’re working on your Google Branding (and unless you live in a cave and don’t care about your online influence you’d better be!) Then this is one of the coolest tricks EVER!

This will get you a spot on the front page of Google for your name, INSTANTLY. (Of course, I can’t guarantee that, but so far EVERYBODY that’s tried it has had the same result!)

It’s called a Google Profile. Notice when you do a search for it, what Google says, “Control What People See When They Search For You On Google.” Wow! It’s not that easy to control anything else on Google, so you better take advantage of this one, and set up your profile. You can see mine here:

I displayed the entire link so you can see what they look like. Here’s the cool part: Everybody who’s done this so far has ended up on the front page, 10th spot of Google, INSTANTLY! It works every time!

So go to google.com/profiles and grab your front page listing right now!

Tips:

-Include links to your sites (obviously) but take the time to complete the profile. Don’t be an online marketing dork who’s obviously just trying to grab position and links- be human! Remember, people buy from those they know, like and trust.

-Include a real picture, or an Avatar if it really looks like you! Don’t use a picture of your product or logo! It’s a personal page, keep it that way!

-Include all of your existing Google services, such as your blogger account, Picasa images, or Youtube channel. All of these options are listed in the “Edit Profile” options.

As soon as you’re done, go back to Google and enter your name in the search bar, and see if you aren’t in the 10th position on the first page right away!
