Chasing Money…

I was listening to Dennis Waitley from a recording of the Jim Rohn Leadership event in 2004. In the teen breakout, one of the kids asked him about making money. His response was fantastic.

I basically said, “Never chase money. Make money chase you.” Wow! A whole sermon in a single sentence. But think about that. Most people are chasing money. Few develop their skills, work hard, and are thought leaders in their industry to the point that money would chase them.

What a great challenge!

Making money chase you is definitely not easy though, except for people who actually have the skill superior to others. Being different and innovative is the key. A leopard stands out in a herd of deer. Dennis Waitley was right. Perhaps some good suggestions on the money chasing would have been helpful though..

I completely agree and appreciate the fact that you take into account small but important references that make the most difference. The skills ofcourse depend from person to person however, the basics should not change only improved.
