5 Ways To Turbo-Charge Your Article Marketing

Ezinearticles had a great article marketing piece in their recent newsletter. So good, in fact, I thought I’d just steal it and make a blog post out of it ;-) OK, so I guess it’s really not stealing when you give them credit…

So here goes. One of the points of article marketing is link building and direct traffic, right? And you can get both of those if somebody likes your article enough to put it on their site or blog. So how do you make sure your articles are worthy of being picked up? Here’s the 5 tips Ezinearticles recommended:

1. No Self-Serving Links in the Article Body – Ezine and other online publishers want content and information, not links. Syndicators want a unique perspective on the subject.

2. No More than 2 Self-Serving Links in Your Resource Box – For the best chances of massive distribution, limit yourself to only 1 link.

3. Keep Your Articles Between 400 and 800 Words – Too short and you won’t be able to convey your information. Too long and the reader may bail on it.

4. Make Sure Your Articles are 100% Original – That means you wrote it and own the rights to it. Also, make sure that it’s easy to read.

5. Become the Expert in Your Niche – Publishers want to use articles that make them look good.
